Demonstrate understanding of a variety of extended spoken Korean texts
This standard asks you to listen to and understand longer, more complex Korean spoken texts—like interviews, news reports, or lectures. You need to show that you really understand what's being said, not just translate individual words, and be able to pick out details and draw conclusions from the whole text. The exam has three questions with multiple parts, and you need to answer all of them.
You show that you understand the main idea of what was said, but you may miss some details or your conclusions are unclear because you didn't fully understand certain parts.
You demonstrate clear understanding by supporting your answers with relevant details from the text, and you can accurately pick out and use key information to back up what you're saying.
You give complete, well-supported answers by bringing together evidence and insights from across the whole text, showing both thorough understanding and smart, integrated conclusions about what you heard.
Standards typically taken alongside or after this one. Same subject, grouped by level.
